SEED was born out of a desire to be of service to as many community service organizations and under serviced communities as possible.
SEED is owned and operated by R&H Seed Group, LLC. Owners Robert Thompson and Chef Herbert E. Coleman. Chef Coleman has a vast knowledge of the South Florida food scene. His former position as supervisor of concessions for the American Airlines Arena has allowed him to increase his skills in the concessions industry. His foodservice career in South Florida began in 1994 when his culinary skills secured him chef positions with the Lipton Tennis Tournament with Gene’s Catering, the Miami Grand Prix with Lundy’s Catering, and the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
As a food service professional, Mr. Coleman expanded his entrepreneurial skills when he became a franchise owner of eight (8) Nathan’s Famous restaurants in Walmart from 2005-2009. In 2009, Mr. Coleman introduced Sergio’s Latin Restaurants into the Walmart Family. Parlaying his skills into the mobile foodservice arena was a very easy transition for Chef Coleman.
